The
health & safety of employees is a major concern
for all companies, espaicially those in the construction
industry. Cornish Steel Structures are constantly working
to ensure that we are up to date with current legislation
and training.
We
have an on going training programme so that our workshop
staff and site operatives are current with all training
courses for Health & Safety on Site, Site Supervisor,
Lift Supervisor, Mobile Elevated Work Platform, Forklift
and Use and Erection of Aluminium Access Towers. These
training courses are approved CSCS / CPCS courses.
Cornish
Steel Structures have there own in-house CTA and CPCS
trained Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) to enable
the company to calculate and plan all lifting operations
using cranes and associated lifting equipment. Additionally
all Site Supervisors are CPCS Lift Supervisor and Slinger
/ Banksman trained.
